You cannot cling to your concepts of who you think you are and then expect to be true as the one that you truly and already are - not even to one of those ideas. To be who "you" are - the one that is already true of you in this very moment right now - will have you letting go of, surrendering and leaving alone the activity of you trying to be something that is notyou. You cannot be realized as the divine one that is currently flowing through the eyes of this mindbody that you find yourself flowing through while you persist in attempting to "be" the mindbody. This mindbody is notyou. Who "you" are still is of course, for you cannot get away from this "you" of you no matter what you get up to or which way you may turn, but you will not be realizing who "you" are; you will not be "being" this "you" of you. You are going to have to surrender and leave alone this constant and consistent unconscious activity of you trying to be who you think you are if you wish to enter the freedom and magnitude of the beingness of this "you" of you – the divine one. You cannot enter the journey of self and heart discovery while hanging onto the attempts of trying to be who you think you are. You can be very disappointed about how you cannot see the brightness of self; how you are not immersed in the wonder and glory of the heart; how you just cannot realize the divinity of this "you" of you; how your sincerity has not brought you to the immediacy of this freedom that you so deeply desire. You are going to have to surrender this motion of what it is that you keep on doing so automatically and unconsciously, moment after moment. You are going to have to bring conscious attention to what you are doing on a momentary basis – have you not noticed how you have a tremendous aversion to being consciously attentive in any given moment? You will have to become aware of what you are doing or where you are coming from moment by moment – and you begin one moment at a time. Who "you" are is already here and a happening thing; it is flowing through the very eyes of this mindbody that you keep on misidentifying yourself to be; find this "you" of you that is already flowing through and stop at and as this one that is "you". Learn to do this on a momentary basis and you will awaken out of the nightmare of the creation of unlove that you take to be your ordinary and daily existence. You may well be inspired by others to try and awaken to your heart but if you do not learn to shift the focus of attention to the conscious immediacy of this "you" of you that is already true of you, then you are going to be blind to the "seeing and being" of who "you" already are – you will be left with still attempting to be who you think you are with the added bonus of trying to do even more things from the same standpoint of not "being" the one that is true of "you". You cannot be the unconditional heart - even though "you" are already this one – while you persist in trying to be who you think you are, this mindbody that you find yourself flowing through. Who "you" are is the energetic "aliveness" that is flowing through your very eyes right now. It will carry you to and into the beyondness that is this one that is who "you" are. Your conscious attention must be aligned to this "motion of seeing" that is flowing through the eyes of this mindbody that you find yourself so intimately involved with and you must come to being deeply at rest in and as this one, for the immediate "being" of this "you" of you that "you" already are; where you are completely free as the very heart of existence itself.
