As you embark on your weight loss journey, one of the best healthy weigth loss tips I can give you is to drink plenty of water every day.

I know you've heard it plenty of times, "Drink at least eight glasses of water each day!" And if you're anything like me, you get sick of hearing that, too. But it's true.

Water is essential to maintaining normal body functions. Water keeps you hydrated and helps you to feel more energized. Here are some more benefits of drinking water for healthy weight loss.

Water curbs hunger pains. If your body is dehydrated, it could trigger hunger sensations. Even though you aren't really hungry, you feel hungry. This is what causes you to overeat or eat when you should be eating. The next time you feel hungry, grab a glass of cool water and drink it slowly and see if your hunger pains go away. Chances are they will.

Water increases your metabolism. Water aids in the digestion process. When you drink the recommended amount of water, your body is able to burn calories faster.

Water can reduce or eliminate frequent headaches. Headaches are often brought on by deydration, too. This can be greatly reduced and even totally eliminated by simply drinking more water.

Water gives you more energy. It's true. Water increases your energy levels. It cleans all the toxins from your body and gives you bursts of energy.

The biggest issue most people have with drinking water is that it is bland. To quickly remedy that, add a squeeze of lemon or lime. You can even purchase sugar-free drink mixes to flavor your water. However you do it, just make sure you drink six to eight glasses of water every day.
